Vogue has admit it : The Best Lingerie Comes in All Sizes

If there's one topic in fashion that seems to be trending above all the rest, it's the eternally salacious subject of women's bodies. Everything about our bodies seems to be up for debate: size, shape, frame, categorization, everything. The latest example is the story of size-10 moel Myla Dalbesio, who was mislabeled plus-size after she starred in a recent Calvin Klein Underwear campaign. Now something revolutionary has happened: American Vogue has shot and published a spread featuring plus-size women in lingerie. While it's certainly nothing revolutionary to show women of different shapes and sizes, it's just not necessarily something we expect to see in Vogue. And in fact, this new spread does just that: features women of all shapes and sizes, plus-sized women included.

Legendary photographer Cass Bird captured the images, which are entirely in black and white and show women laughing, crying, and generally embracing their bodies. It's absolutely beautiful, and we're beyond pleased to see Vogue printing something so fashion-forward and reflective of all kinds of women, not just straight-size models.    

"Τι να φας για να χάσεις 5 κιλά σε 3 μέρες"....(σκέφτομαι "μας δουλεύουν")..."Ποια ρούχα σε κάνουν να φαίνεσαι 10 κιλά λιγότερο"....(τα βλέπω, ψηλο-απογοητεύομαι)...."Ποια σώματα αρέσουν στους άντρες".....(βλέπω κάτι κορίτσαρους που χτυπιούνται 7 ώρες την ημέρα στο γυμναστήριο και λέω πως οι άντρες είναι πολύ μεγάλοι μ@λ@κες)....Και ξαφνικά έρχεται η Αμερικανική Vogue, η Βίβλος της μόδας και κάνει editorial για εσώρουχα με κανονικές γυναίκες. Mάλιστα, κανονικές, κανονικότατες. Αυτά τα κορίτσια, κατά την δική μου άποψη, δεν ανήκουν στην κατηγορία του plus size (άντε, όχι όλες τέλος πάντων), αλλά στην κατηγορία beautiful. Cause all women are beautiful, no matter what. Εδώ το κατάλαβε η Vogue και μας το έδειξε. Εμείς τι, κουτόχορτο τρώμε? Σας φιλώ, Marg.
