Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που δείχνω ρούχα από τις collection της Lauren Moffatt. Με έδρα πια τη Νέα Υόρκη, η Lauren φοίτησε στη Σχολή Καλων Τεχνών της Φιλαδέλφια, της πόλης που γεννήθηκε. Αφού εργάστηκε αρκετά χρόνια ως γραφίστρια, το 2000 σχεδιάζει την πρώτη της σειρά ρούχων που τα είχε φτιάξει μόνης της στο διαμέρισμα που έμενε - μια βάρκα στον ποταμό Hudson. Σήμερα η βάση είναι ένα ιδιόκτητο studio στο Chelsea. Στα σχέδιά της συνεχίζει να διακρίνεται η αγάπη της για τις τέχνες, το design, τα χρώματα, τις υφές, που αποτελούν τις βάσεις των δημιουργιών της και την έχουν καθιερώσει ως μια από αγαπητές σχεδιάστριες. Η Vogue και το WWD την έχουν ανακυρήξει στο παρελθόν "Designer to watch" και οι collections της έχουν παρουσιαστεί σε πολλά περιοδικά όπως Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Glamour, Nylon, Marie Claire, In-Style, και T Magazine. ENG : CFDA inductee, Lauren Moffatt, is a New York based fashion designer. Trained in Fine Arts, the Philadelphia native left her job as a graphic designer and launched her women’s ready to wear brand in 2000. For the first two seasons, Moffatt produced her collection from her home – a 31-foot sailboat docked on New York’s Hudson River. Although she now works out of a proper studio in Chelsea, Moffatt’s love of fine art and modern design, as well as her unique sensibility for color, texture and detail continue to be cornerstones of her aesthetic, establishing her as one of the most coveted independent women’s designers. Lauren Moffatt has been named “Designer to Watch” by both WWD and Vogue. The collection has been featured in numerous publications, including Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Glamour, Nylon, Marie Claire, In-Style, and T Magazine.
