My precious beauty time : What's your red by essie

eng : Hello, hello little birds. Some days ago I had the time of my life. Essie, the very well known nail salon expert pampered me and other bloggers to present their red line (you know, Christmas is coming - red is the color). As you can see in the photos, I am smiling and making funny faces cause it was such a great event. I thought to show you some answered questions by miss "essie" herself, Essie Weingarten, about how can we keep our nails in their best shape : 

- As far as nail shape goes, what is your rule?

- Follow what god gave you. Whatever your cuticle shape, you should mimic in your nail shape. That gives you the most feminine look.

- You mentioned that you wear red nail polish. What is your signature red?

- I go anywhere from Bordeaux on my nails and toes (I did that a lot this winter), and some days it's A-List, She's Pampered, or Aperitif.

- Do you always match your toe polish color with your finger color? What are the guidelines on that these days according to Essie?

- Well, anything goes, but right now I am into match-y, match-y.

- How many minutes do you wait after leaving the salon when your nails are drying?

- 15 minutes and I'm out of the salon.

- What is the process like to name one nail polish?

- You start basic. You feel Fall is going to be about a lot of faux fur or fur, for example. So you throw up some keywords on furs (and you have to be concerned about PETA so it's not offensive), then you start to fill in the dots. Then, I ask the namers to tell me something they really love, but never had the money to spend it on themselves. They say, "A Celine handbag." And I say, "No, something even more fantastic." It's a fairytale world. Then we write the names down and massage them and then, all of a sudden, things click.

gr : Μια μέρα που λέτε, ήρθε στο inbox μια πρόσκληση που μιλούσε για κόκκινο, για ομορφιά, για περιποίηση, για transformation, για beauty evolution και όλα τα σχετικά...ε κι εγώ τσίμπησα (σιγά μη δεν το έκανα). Στις 25 Νοεμβρίου λοιπόν, την ημέρα της γιορτής μου, αποφάσισα να με ανταμείψω, ανταποκρινόμενη στην πολύ ευγενική πρόσκληση της εταιρίας essie Greece. Τι έγινε εκείνο το απόγευμα, σας το λέω ευθύς αμέσως : 
Ξεκίνησε η γνωριμία με τα "κόκκινα" χρώματα essie, όπου έπειτα από καθόλου σκέψη (γιατί μου άρεσαν όλα) και αφού συμμετείχα σε ένα question game, βρήκαμε πως η απόχρωση που μου ταιριάζει περισσότερο είναι η A-List (τι καλά, με αναβάθμισαν μέσα σε ένα απόγευμα). Στη συνέχεια περάσαμε στην περιποίηση και το nail polishing με την Μαρία από τα Fairy Nails να μου εξηγεί κάθε φορά τι είναι αυτό που κάνει και τι πρέπει να κάνω εγώ για να έχω πιο ωραία νυχάκια. Στον πολύ όμορφα διακοσμημένο χώρο, με κόκκινα χριστουγεννιάτικα στολίδια και όλες τις αποχρώσεις των κόκκινων και μη της essie, την ημέρα της γιορτής μου πέρασα ωραία, γνώρισα ωραίους ανθρώπους, μιλήσαμε, γελάσαμε, φωτογραφηθήκαμε και αφού αποχαιρετιστήκαμε αυτό που σκεφτόμουν στον δρόμο της επιστροφής ήταν πως ορισμένες εταιρίες ξέρουν πως να προωθήσουν τα προϊόντα τους κερδίζοντας πρώτα τους ανθρώπους. Δηλαδή τους μελλοντικούς καταναλωτές. Essie Greece ευχαριστώ πολύ. Καλημέρα.
